It's your body, so treat it right.

Welcome to the 4EverFit web site! This site is intended to help you establish healthier eating habits as well as maintain a more active lifestyle. This is important because obesity (and the risk of becoming obese) and type 2 diabetes continue to increase in middle and high school students. To support tobacco cessation and obesity programs, the Health Care Coalition of Lafayette County was recently awarded the Social Innovation for Missouri (SIM) grant. Download our press release for complete details.

Students
On this web site, we want students to take advantage of the fun features on this site that include calculators that tabulate everything from the amount of calories you eat to what is called your body mass index, or BMI for short.

We also encourage you to read some of the articles we have provided on the site and tell us what you think.

Schools
School administrators who register on the site will have support with developing health and wellness programs. They will be able to use the site to track student progress as it relates to weight gain/loss, physical activity hours, BMI, and much more. The reports generated from this site are aggregate reports, which means no one student's progress can be identified. Instead, the reports tally all participant totals into one report.

Parents
Parents are encouraged to visit the site to find useful tips to promote healthy eating habits and physical activities that the whole family can implement at home.

How we can help
The Health Care Collaborative (HCC) of Rural Missouri (formerly Health Care Coalition of Lafayette County) is looking to visit area schools to help adminstrators learn how to use this site and integrate it with their student wellness initiatives. To schedule a visit, contact the HCC at 660.259.2440.
